What are the entry requirements?
For RN: Age 17-35 years, WAEC/NECO with 5 credits (including Biology, Chemistry & Physics), entrance exam and interview. For BNSc: Completion of RN program or equivalent qualification and NMCN registration.
How long are the programs?
The 3-Year RN program is 3 years in duration with clinical training integrated throughout. The 5-Year BNSc progression (RSU affiliation) is 5 years combining theoretical instruction with clinical practice. Clinical training is integrated with academics, not separate.
How many hours of clinical practice?
Basic Nursing students complete 1,500+ hours of supervised clinical practice across diverse healthcare settings. Midwifery students complete 1,200+ hours of specialized obstetric practice.
What preparation exists for licensing exams?
Our curriculum fully covers NMCN examination requirements. We provide exam preparation courses, mock exams, study materials, and dedicated support to ensure you pass on your first attempt.
