"Growing Into a Confident Nurse"

My Journey Began

I arrived at St. Anna College three years ago with a passion for nursing but limited clinical exposure. "I was nervous about the clinical requirements," Chioma recalls. "But the comprehensive clinical training at multiple hospital partners changed how I see nursing. Every rotation taught me something new."

The Learning Experience

Throughout three years, Chioma has rotated through General Surgery, Obstetrics, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, and Community Health settings. "The faculty members are exceptional mentors. They treat us as future colleagues, providing personalized feedback after every clinical rotation that helps us develop real clinical judgment and professional confidence."

Looking Forward

As she prepares for NMCN registration and her nursing career, Chioma is confident about her preparation. "St. Anna prepared me thoroughly—not just with knowledge, but with the clinical judgment and communication skills I'll need as a registered nurse. I'm excited to begin my professional nursing practice."

Chioma's Advice to Future Students: "Choose a nursing school that invests in your clinical skills through extensive hands-on practice. St. Anna's commitment to quality clinical training and small student-faculty ratios made all the difference in my education."
